This is the continuation of my BBC of excellence. To make this even more badass, if you get this coin I’m sharing with the world why you earned it. That’s one of the differences between this fucker and the other pieces of metal you’ve received.  Don’t fret if your write up isn’t as detailed or descriptive as you would like. That’s not how this works. Don’t worry brah, I will always remember all the times we had.  Some things are better left between us, NO HOMO. This list is for the recipients of the coin and the commonalities and traits that you all share with eachother. You can’t buy these beauties off me. And you can't have it just because you are some rando that has never done anything deserving. Piss off if your entitled feelings cloud your judgment of me.  I wont lose any sleep over it, but I have a feeling you may. #smileyface

  1. Jean-Paul – The owner of my first coin. I met this dude in a school and within ten minutes he had set the impression that even though he is a giant of a man, he has a heart of gold. There were many similarities that we both shared. Food for example. We would practically eat out every night and when we BBQd, we were the envy of everyone’s stomach. But fuck those Aku birds and we never gave them shit.  As roommates we looked out for each other and always had each other’s back.  The main reason he deserves this coin, is his everlasting Fortitude when faced with adversity. How he handled his tough times that we all as men sometimes must face. Im not going to go into detail about his shit,  but I will tell you that he handled it like a boss and is still trucking. He’s the definition of hustle and grind, selling and making money off the projects he creates.  If your friends with this man, then you know he has your six.  Thanks JP for having mine.
  2. Val- The love of my life. There just isn’t enough to say why she deserves this coin (other than she holds the wife card). She truly makes everything that happens in my world seem like she’s been doing it for ever.  Everything she does is fluid and conducive to my life. Blessing me with her love, has shaped me into the man I am today. Because of her, I’m a better listener, a better cook, a better person and most of all a better father.  She brought light into my life and made everything I’ve ever had to deal with easy. I am not going to rant about my feelings for her all damn day like everyone on social media does. Why would I need to do that when I can tell her myself.  One of the main things about her is she is not materialistic at all, I can never find something to buy her for special occasions (holidays, birthdays, etc). So instead I give her the world whenever she asks me.  Thank you my queen.
  3. Rick – My big brother. There once was a time when I was just coming up as a young pirate. Being a Diver in Guam, I was still learning the ways of being Hooyah.  There I met one of the most badass motherfuckers that set the standard on what it is to work hard and play hard. This dude would smash cases of bud lights that would get his nickname “The bud light Slayer” and Rage downtown so hard that everyone knew him as the “king of Tumon” Me and this guy hit it off and he became my brother immediately. We’ve been through some shit and he still to this day impresses me with his undying Loyalty to his family and his charismatic nature to strangers. Even making big changes in his life for the benefit of all those around him. When my newborn finally arrived he took the kids so that me and the wife could rest. Not only that, but he also tried his best to make my oldest’s birthday a special event while we were in the hospital. I have so many stories about this guy that it would take away from everyone else who owns my coveted coin lol. This hanai brother will always be able to count on me when he needs me. Thank you Rick for being there for me.
  4. Johnny “Cookie” Canada – Now as long as I’ve been in the military, I’ve never eaten such good grinds as I had during my October 2018 trip on a Canadian ship from this guy’s galley. Motherfucking 59 soon to be 60 year old cook Johnny from Canada.  This guy was one of the dudes that made this trip fun and memorable for me. At first I had a hard time trying to figure out if any of the people I met where even worthy of a BBC. Until I found this old fucking geezer. Jonny is the definition of a salty sailor. He says random crazy shit and doesn’t pull punches. In a world of political correctiveness this dude is a shining star amongst rebels against the cause.  This senior citizen works his ass off all day through the night and has been doing this for fucking years. During this short tenure I have had the pleasure of seeing this man accommodate every request of our team while on deployment. And he never fucking complained once. Random acts of kindness is a thing hardly seen in the military today, especially when it involves a rate such as a cook. We do what were told and take initiative to make things better,  if your that type of guy. But this dude was going way above the call of duty and just killing it. Usually cooks in the military are a bunch of disgruntled fucks that can’t wait for the meal to be over so they can clean up and get ready to do it all over again. Standard stuff to expect with all branches of military galleys and mess halls. But when Jonny could hook us up he would and he always put his best foot forward. When we were giving one of our dudes an oral board for qualification, he whipped up a whole snack session so we had something to stuff our gullets with. During our deployment we were away from family and weren’t able to enjoy the luxuries of spending Thanksgiving together with them. He set us up with an entire spread so we can celebrate our American tradition. And a last minute cake at a request by me had him in the kitchen so we can celebrate a happy belated birthday for one of the boys. If cooking is a way to a man’s heart, then he definitely could find a place in mine (No Homo). He’s like the crazy uncle that you just want to be around so he can make you laugh. Thanks “Cookie”
  5. Hunter I – Let me tell you about a boy I like to call my “little brother”. Some of the best qualities of this dude is his undying loyalty to his friends and his tireless work ethic. The amount of work this fucking guy puts in for his people is far above what hes getting payed for. I don’t know where he gets it from, but you can always count on this motherfucker to come through for you, like a mafioso’s right hand man. Ive had the pleasure of taking this guy under my wing and showing him the ropes and im proud to call him a friend.  This boy will give you the shirt off his back so you can keep warm. He will frost a cake so you don’t have to get that shit on your hands. He even payed for and downloaded a game to play and help me fight off boredom in Africa. Some woman someday is going to be lucky as shit to have a person like this man in their life. Ladies, imagine if you needed wood split for a fire,  a bottle of rum, your house painted, baked brownies or some shit like that and your check book balanced at the end of the day before you two have to attend a PTA meeting for an evening event that you made him in charge of. Hed have all that shit done and still be helping me get ready for our fishing trip the next day. If Hardwork and dedication had a picture of a dude to represent it, then you can count on his photo to be there.
  6. Lou S. – There are people in this world that have an agenda that solely benefits themselves. They come up with shit that strictly furthers their own gain. I don’t hate on those people. They are doing them and in the end people can do whatever the fuck they want. But Lou has a vision that falls on the opposite spectrum of that thought process. It’s his gratefulness and loyalty to those that put forth the ultimate effort and sometimes pays the ultimate sacrifice for others. Strangers usually have no idea of where these men and women come from, and are usually dealing with unsung heroes. People that are simply doing what they are trained to do. Firefighters, Police, and Medical responders both military and civilian Sectors.  Lou, has taken the next step in honoring these brave men and women by starting a clothing brand that represents the warriors that step up to the plate when the shit hits the fan. His brand Breechface is a way forward to represent those that answer the call. A way to show others that their selfless sacrifice for the benefit of others is more important then their own personal gain. I admire people with the drive to help others. There are only a few people that I know of personally that go out of their way to try and show appreciation for those that charge in headfirst and let their skillset do the talking. Not only that, but his wife also extends her hand to help women that are in dire straits. This couple’s combo far exceeds what the mindset of todays society wields. I am honored that this guy owns my coin.
  7. Kino - My best friend. When I was a younger man I met this new dude that showed up to my unit. He was heralded as a warrior such as myself Haha. People boasted and bragged about how much he and I had in common even though we’ve never met. I thought to myself “this can’t be true”. I ended up putting him through the trials of Brad (not a real thing), secretly hoping he wouldn’t add up. He ended up out diving, out shooting, out lifting, out fucking and out fighting (maybe not fuck) tens times better than anyone I knew. Guy not only killed every test I had him secretly go through, but far exceeded the level of skill that I had. I became secretly envious of this man and semi despised him for it. But the best part of this whole story… He humbly offered to teach me everything he knew! “Braddah Brad” he would call me. I laugh at this story now because there is so much more to this man to write about. When this motherfucker dies, I will tell a tale of one of the greatest and most compassionate brother I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and the stories of our conquests together will rival those of Sinbad the sailor. Nerdy ass scholars are gonna want to put this shit in a book and either make a new Bible or put our adventures on a shelf next to stories about Troy, the Odyssey, or Thermopile. I would have to tell you in person about how much I love this man (no homo) This fucking guy started from Humble beginnings and continues to live his life this way to this very day. Thank you Kino for being the guy that reminded me “no matter how badass of a fish you think you are, there’s still a bigger fish in the sea”
  8. Leo K – "As long as there is one student willing to learn, You have an obligation to teach" -Leo K. People always say “Jiu-Jitsu saved my life” and now I can say “fuck yeah it did”. I hold this guy in a different light from others. Once upon a time I was in a bad spot. And it was this man who helped me get through it. Funny thing is, he probably never realized how important of an impact he had on my well-being. Long story short, I had a crazy ex-wife and a custody battle about kids. It was a dark time for me and he ran a jiu-jitsu gym for community kids that allowed me to spend precious time with my children multiple times during the week. He then offered me a place to train when I was between gyms. I found a brotherhood that I was able to vent to and build a strong bond. Men NEED fellowship, whether its in a church, in a club, or gym, hell even a bar you can find other dudes that allow you to set your mind free from life’s stress. Leo never turned his back on me even when confronted with ultimatums and allegiances within the BJJ community. He is my only boy from Waianae that I call friend. When I think country boy from the westside, I see Leo’s mug shot. Me and him grew up very similar and have very similar ideals. Leo helped me raise my kids through jiu-jitsu and provided me the medium to become strong again. Truly an unsung hero to me that I am proud to call my big brother. Thank you my braddah for all the great memories you blessed me with.
  9. Francisco G – I was a blue belt once upon a time and met this crazy motherfucker on the mats. He kept ranting on about how he wanted to do this new move called the “Berimbolo”. I could gave two shits about what the fuck that meant or what he was talking about. But there he was… spinning and inverting all crazy and teleporting to my back. Like most flashy moves back in the day I figured that shit wouldn’t work. But this dude kept at it. As we moved up through the ranks, his move became more and more ferocious to where if he set you up, consider your back taken. You see Francisco is a big ass Mexican, he shouldn’t be able to move that slick. His tireless work ethic became something I needed in a fishing partner. Some of our many accolades include winning a huge fishing tournament, getting drunk off some yaeger, fucking a bunch of punks up at the beach and many more. All the while acting like he doesn’t speak English. It was easy to bring this guy to random places, have him speak to me in “Spanglish” and everyone around me was non the wiser. The best part was after we had people fooled he would blow everyone away with the regular English. Dude, I would literally tell people I just picked this Mexican up off the side the road and they should fight him and show the strength of Murica. Then kick back and enjoy  watching him beat the fuck outta people. I could always call upon my boy to come through if I needed him and he knew he could always rely on me. I’m grateful you’ve always been a loyal friend.
  10. Thalia R – Never would I ever of thought that another woman would impress me to the level of this person. Once upon a time I met this girl who I thought was going to need a whole lot of work to find herself.  I initially had this feeling that no matter what she tried for, she would always be found wanting.  Val decided to take her under her wing and introduce her to the ways of our family culture. She ended up helping raise our kids with the party aunty vibe. And the kids loved it. Her level of respect for our family and the friendship and sisterhood she fostered with Val by being a good person, really struck a chord with how I started to feel. No woman other than my wife and mom has ever had this effect of how proud I could be of another person, especially a woman. She fucking topped it off by joining the ARMY and learned a different sense of pride for her country and the boost in self confidence and self- esteem that I never would of thought she could gain. I could feel her energy and her level of skill had greatly increased and she found a huge part of her life. It was good to hear about her stories of her journey and the fact that she shared this with the kids. I know with this new found confidence, that she will continue to perservere and prove to the doubters (including me) that she will continue the grind and impress the shit out of me. Good work my sister. I Hope that any influence, if any from us has allowed you to continue your success towards being a good person and an active contributor to others around you. Keep on making me proud.  You definitely deserve a BBC!

  11. Jules K - I cannot express how proud of a father i am of this girl. The trials and tribulations that I have seen this kid go through during her life so far is astounding and I wouldn't want this to happen to other kids because I am afraid that they would break under the same pressure. Juliana has a quality that separates her from a lot of people that only show this trait on the surface and its “LOYALTY”. Her loyalty to her family and to whatever she decides to do she will just crush it. Her career has taken off and the work that she did to help with her brothers and sisters growing up have been nothing but commendable. I grew up a rough life and her being my second oldest, i only had a little refinement to do as far as how i was to raise this girl. She grew up to be a resilient self starter that always took initiative to get what she needed done. All i had to do was nurture her way and guide her from going down dangerous paths. She has a no-quit attitude also. I've seen her spend hours on homework not giving up and just persevering through adversity. In the face of turmoil and shit hitting the fan, you can count on this girl to keep her composure and just keep on pushing. I never really done too much else. In the end she taught me that the main thing i needed to raise great kids was “LOVE”. If you love your family, you’ll constantly talk with them, if you love them you will constantly teach them, if you love them you will be with them as they go through life only intervening if they are about to be dangerously injured. Thank you my Jules for choosing me and mom to practice raising children. I love you my darling. I am honored to give you my 11th coin.
